Living in New Mexico with my mom and brother can be kind of isolating when the rest of our family lives near Florida. This year around Christmas time my family in New Mexico had to take a road trip to our extended family for a family emergency.

This was in December, and along the road we made pitstops to a lot of interesting places on the way. One of these really cool places we saw was a place called “Santa Land”, which was a Christmas Light amusement park where you drive your car through a path littered with different Christmas Light art pieces.

It was the definitively highlight of the trip for me, as it was such a great experience to see all the intricate displays that they had. It was also great to stop and take a break after a really long drive to get hot chocolate and explore the gift shop.
